Asalamu Alaikum and Eid Mubarak!
On behalf of all your interfaith colleagues and friends, I wish you and your family a blessed celebration as you end the holy season of Ramadan. It has been extraordinary as you could be together for Iftar dinners. I commend everyone for maintaining the safety standards, which has saved lives. Nonetheless, you have offered inspiring virtual messages and ingeniously provided drive-by Iftar dinners. Your spiritual discipline of charity has been evident like never before, thanks to special efforts in making and giving well in excess of 1,000 masks; providing food by the ton in various ways including Grab-And-Go, home delivery for the elderly and meals for the homeless. I was pleased to feature several of your programs in our newsletter and on Facebook. People have been doubly impressed by learning that you are feeding the hungry while fasting yourselves.
You have been a blessing to everyone in Montgomery County through your acts of love. I pray that you will be richly blessed through your celebration of Eid. May it be a day of great joy, deep gratitude and abiding faith in the grace and mercy of Allah.
Salaam, Kasey
