MCMF held its Thanksgiving Drive Thru Distribution and served over 500 families. Food boxes contained rice, pasta, spaghetti, sauces, applesauce, cereal, canned vegetables, tuna, oil and milk. Fresh produce bags containing onions, potatoes, and carrots were distributed to families together with chicken. Fifty volunteers participated in the drive-thru distribution. MCMF received a citation from Governor Hogan's office. We are thankful to Council Member Will Jawando for joining us today. A big hand to the MCMF Drive-thru Distribution team and a big thanks to all the volunteers and a special thanks to Marla Caplon for the fresh produce boxes, Adileh Shareef of ICM for all her support in organizing the drive-thru and Gaithersburg Police for traffic control Thank you all!
